CORE ACTIVITIES
Nursery
The nursery school caters for children of 3 years of age and is the first structured learning experience for most children. Due to our limited space, our maximum capacity is only 28 children. Therefore, demand for places in very high every year with an ever increasing waiting list.
Primary
The primary school caters for children from 4 to 11 years of age, and is an independent fee paying school. The syllabus covers the National Curriculum as well as teaching Islamic Studies which is blended into the curriculum.
Everything that takes place in the school is aimed at preparing our pupils to live as Muslims, participating proudly and fully with every aspect of modern life and drawing strength, meaning and direction for a thorough understanding and love for traditional culture, principles and practice.
The secular and religious programme in our school merges seamlessly to provide an atmosphere of enthusiastic and thoughtful learning within a context of proper behaviour.
Our goal is to help young people to understand the complexity of the modern world in which they live, and that their own well-being is closely connected to the well-being of others.
All children at Al-Ameen Primary School are encouraged to think for themselves, question their learning and solve problems. We ensure that young people enjoy their life at our school and develop a love of learning and a strong desire to continue their education as a lifelong experience.
There is currently over 80 students attending the school, this number is projected to reach over 120 pupils. However due to our limited classrooms, we are currently unable to cater for this organic growth within our existing facility.
