CareersPresently we are recruiting for our Primary SchoolAl Ameen Primary School is an independent, Muslim-faith-based school located in the Tyseley area of Birmingham. The National Curriculum is taught at our school with an aim to promote moral, spiritual and academic excellence in a loving, caring and secure Islamic environment. Lunch Time Supervisor - Immediately Needed Please note that Al Ameen Nursery & Primary School is committed to providing education for children in an environment where they feel safe and have the confidence to approach and speak to staff if they have any concerns. As applicants who are offered a post will be in a role which includes interacting with children, they will thus need to undergo an enhanced CRB check or they will be vetted under the new ISA vetting and barring scheme (depending on the time of appointment). Before any appointment, applicants will need to provide at least two independent references of which one is the most recent employer. If you support our ideals, would like to work with us and could be a positive and enthusiastic role model for our children, please complete the job application form below and send it to us at: Arabic Language Teacher Ideal candidates will have had some experience in teaching modern Arabic language and should be able to demonstrate efficient teaching methods. The role will include planning and delivery of Arabic language according to a non-statutory curriculum. The candidate will be expected to provide personalized learning in an environment wherein the aptitudes and needs of all children are taken into consideration in the planning and delivery process. Please note that this is a part time position. Arabic Teacher – Immediately needed Ideal candidates will hold QTS. Candidates who do not have QTS but do have experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum may also apply. An understanding of Islamic values and principles is recommended. Lunch Time Supervisor We are looking for a dedicated individual who has experience with working with children. The role will include monitoring children during the lunch break, with an age range between nursery and year 6. Working hours will be from 11am to 1:15pm. Applicants are expected to have reasonable experience in working with children along with a gentle and caring approach when dealing with children. Applicants are also expected to have experience in behaviour management with the ability to manage children effectively and fairly.
